Beginning in the serene mountain town of Idyllwild CA, two expats- one from LA, one from London- wanted to share our individual Beef Wellingtons with the community. So, we rolled up some little fatties, called them Idy-Wellies, and delivered them to the people. After unprecedented popularity and glowing reviews, we knew we had created something special. So, we decided to rebrand our Wellies, in order to expand our menu and our reach. With love we curated a delicious menu with one of a kind concept Wellies, that represented our shared, diverse, family heritage. Thus, Wellie Belly was born.

Wellie Belly is a food concept, dedicated to re-inventing comfort foods we all know and love. We don’t just make traditional Beef Wellington per-say, we make ‘Wellies, a British Classic with a pinch of Americana. Our goal is to make Beef Wellington accessible to everyone and not just for those that can afford to dine at a five star establishment or spend hours in the kitchen prepping. By introducing new recipes to the Wellington format we’re modernizing the dish and seeking to become America's first Original Wellie Deli. Because everything tastes better wrapped in paper thin puff pastry.
